Osthoff Resort & Legend Larry's 2023 Chili Challenge:
The Osthoff Resort and Legend Larry's are teaming up to put on a one-day Chili Challenge to support the Pink Heals non-profit organization. Think you got what it takes to make the best Chili on the planet? Prove it for your chance at a portion of $1000 in cash and prizes. Not much of a cook? Come and enjoy live music, beverages, and sample the Chilis. Entry is $5 and includes samples of all the Chili entries while supplies last.
Sunday March 12th 11am to 4 pm.
- Enter your chili for a chance to win a share of over $1000 in cash and prizes that will be awarded to the top 3 submissions.
- Music by former American Idol Contestant and singer/songwriter Franki Moscato
- $5 admission fee benefits Pink Heals and gets you samples of the chili entries
Entry Requirements:
- All entries must be pre-registered no later than Friday March 10th. (register here)
- All entries must use at least one Legend Larry's sauce as an ingredient.
- Each entry should provide 2 gallons of chili, warm, or refrigerated, not hot or frozen, in disposable food-safe containers such as gallon ice cream buckets or 4-inch deep disposable aluminum 1/2 chaffing pans.
- A label with the chili's name, the type of Legend Larry's sauce used, and the chef's or business' name and contact information must be attached to the chili.
- Chili entries should be dropped off at the Osthoff Resort (Conference Center) on March 12th between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. Judging will start at 10 am.
- Entrants must be present during the event and able to help serve their entry.
