Crispy Grilled Chicken Wings

Crispy Grilled Chicken Wings
This recipe is a great way to make chicken wings anytime you want to fire up the grill, or don't want to break out the deep fryer! The skin gets nice and crispy and some of the sauce is caramelized on the wings for a rich and toasty flavor.

Directions

  1. Dry the wings by patting them with paper towel and place them in a large bowl. Sprinkle them with even parts baking powder and salt, tossing to cover evenly. Put the wings in a single layer on wire rack, over a baking sheet in your fridge uncovered for at least 8 hours

  2. Light your grill. Once fully lit, arrange the coals on one side of the grill. Set cooking grate in place, cover gill and allow to preheat for 5 minutes. Put the wings, skin side up, over the cool side of the grill, cover, and cook until skins are crisp and browned, about 35 minutes. Brush wings with your favorite Legend Larry's sauce, cover, and continue to cook for 5 to 10 more minutes.

  3. Transfer wings to a large bowl. Pour remaining sauce over wings and toss to coat evenly and serve!
